Dear Rabbinic Colleagues,

I am pleased to tell you about a wonderful opportunity for professional development and growth at the Moreh L'Morim Conference this summer. We have created a unique day of learning for rabbinic leadership, The Rabbinic Forum @ Moreh L'Morim, on Tuesday August 10, from 9am-5pm with the evening concert at 7:15pm. The cost for the day is $54 which includes lunch and dinner.

Following is the tentative program for the Rabbinic Forum @ Moreh L'Morim:

Morning Study with Rabbi Steve Greenberg of CLAL. Topic TBD. For more information about Rabbi Greenberg: http://www.jewishfederations.org/page.aspx?id=90597

A demonstration lesson with J.T. Waldman from the Jewish Publication Society. JT is the designer and creator of the newly launched Tagged Tanakh project. We are hoping this will be a valuable tool of scholarship for teaching Bible and parashat ha-shavua. J.T. will be soliciting feedback from you as the project is still in its trial stage. For more information on Tagged Tanakh project: http://jpsinteractive.org/projects/tagged_tanakh

Lunch and conversation on about the rabbinic role in Jewish education with Rabbis Len Zukrow and Scott Aaron

Afternoon study on "Yom Kippur and Sin" with our guest scholars Dr. Tamar Kamionkowski and Rabbi Moshe Berger of Siegal College.

Evening concert with Detroit Storyteller Corinne Stavish and Cleveland Singer-Songwriter Noah Budin

Now is the time for you to formally register for this wonderfully rich experience. Register directly for the conference on our website: http://registration.siegalcollege.edu/mlm.php (choose the rabbinic forum)

I am very excited about the offerings at this unique conference within a conference tailored to your rabbinic role in Jewish learning and am hopeful you will join me on August 10, for the Rabbinic Forum @ Moreh L'Morim.

Sincerely

Rabbi Jeffrey Schein
